	FALCON 'CLASSIC' RANGE OF SHOCKS FOR
	PRE 1975 / VINTAGE MX BIKES
	The "Classic" range of Falcon shock absorbers has been developed to make the best use of the limited amount of rear suspension travel allowed on bikes of this era. Based on the 32 mm bore, these dampers have a maximum travel of 4 inches (100 mm), on lengths of 12.5 inches or over. Shorter lengths have a travel of 3 inches (75 mm). Damper lengths from stock vary from 11 inches, (280) centres, (280mm) centres, up to 16.9inches, (429mm) with 46 different lengths in 0.25 inch(6mm)steps. We can even lengthen or shorten shocks at any time after purchase so that the right length is always available for your motorcycle.


	The basic range is constructed from steel, but many of the common sizes are also available in all aluminium . On a pair of 13.4 inch shocks, aluminium saves nearly 1.5 lbs, (0.6 kg) in weight. For this range of shocks we also supply a 'wide body' 36mm bore version made from aluminium and available in all the most popular sizes. These dampers contain nearly 25% more oil than the 32mm bore units, and so run cooler.

	The all steel shock absorbers are finished with satin bodies, and the aluminium units are clear bright anodised. Both types of 32mm are supplied with a chrome plated spring. The 'wide body' shocks use a spring in satin black.
